USIP Peace Scholar Fellowship Program 2025-2026 in Washington D.C
The USIP Peace Scholar Fellowship program 2025 provides non-residential scholarships to PhD students who enrolled in U.S. universities and working on their dissertations. Further, the program has supported many researchers who now have professional careers in research, higher education, and policymaking. So, to fund more fellowships, USIP collaborates with the Minerva Research Initiative.
Some of the projects that will focuse on in this international fund are reducing violence and addressing other issues such as crime. Also, these crimes destabilize society and encourage migration from Latin America, the Caribbean and other regions. Proposals that support democratic transitions and the fight against violent extremism in key regions such as East Africa, the Sahel and West Africa will also consider. Why USIP Peace Scholar Fellowship 2025?
USIP fellowship program particularly invites members of under-represented groups in the fields of international relations, conflict studies, and related academic fields, as well as diplomacy and international policymaking. Further, proposals which will suggest ways to minimize conflicts in the Indo Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Middle East where preventive measures systems are weak, overburdened, or dysfunctional will give priority.
In addition, International research projects can link to the conflict strategies used by America’s competitors to create conflict and reduce America’s influence in major countries for national security. Similarly, Fellows awarded $20,000 in three installments, which can use to cover living expenses. Also, the USIP grant provides an opportunity to attend an annual conference in Washington, D.C., which provides networking opportunities for all.
Financial Coverage of USIP Peace Scholar Fellowship
- The USIP provides a 10-month unemployment benefit.
- Fellows will receive a grant of up to $20,000 in three installments.
- Peace scholars have the opportunity to attend the annual workshop in Washington, DC. Applicants must complete all required Ph.D. and tests An approved transcript must submit prior to application.
- Also, applicants closely related to the USIP program and core research projects of the Minerva Research Initiative will give priority and applications are selected based on research demand and feasibility of implementation.
- Applications without USIP objectives and Minerva objectives will not consider.
