Master of Music Scholarship 2026-27 in UK |
The Music Scholarship 2026 has two categories: the “Carlaw Master of Music Postgraduate Scholarship 2026-27” and the “Carlaw Ogston Master of Music Postgraduate Scholarship 2026-27.” However, beginning in the academic year 2026–27, graduates with a First or Upper Second Honors degree in Music, or an equivalent degree, are welcome to enroll in MMus programs in any field of music at the University of Aberdeen’s Department of Music. Candidates may apply if they are starting an MMus in September 2026 or January 2027.
Candidates must have accepted into the MMus program before applying for the scholarships. Therefore, the priority for the Carlaw-Ogston Master of Music Scholarship will give to students who completed their undergraduate studies at the Aberdeen University.
Financial Benefits Master of Music Scholarship 2026-27
The value of each scholarship is £2,000 for the full year of the postgraduate course. The scholarship will provide in two equal installments: £1,000 at the start of the academic year and £1,000 at the start of the 2nd half session. A yearly evaluation will conduct, and the award will be granted if sufficient progress is made over the time that may be found satisfactory.
Eligibility Criteria
The Applicants with any status of fee are eligible for this Scholarship. Before applying for the grants, candidates must have an offer of admission to the postgraduate Master of Music (MMus) program. Students with a conditional or unconditional offer in any field of music (such as composition or musicology) will be eligible for the scholarships based on their merit and musical aptitude. The
