SINGA Scholarship 2022 Singapore | Fully Funded Ph.D
Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA Scholarship 2022) applications are now being accepted for a Ph.D. programme in Singapore. As a result, SINGA is a partnership between ASTAR and the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (ASTAR). Furthermore, SINGA Graduate Awards are open to all international students worldwide. Singapore is also a gateway to some of the Asia Pacific region’s fastest-growing economies. So, with SINGA, you can pursue your Ph.D. while also making global connections and advancing your research career.
ASTAR, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Singapore Management University are also partners in the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) (SMU). PhD training will conduct in English at ASTAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU in the laboratory of your choice. In these laboratories, students will supervise by eminent and world-renowned researchers. Students who complete the programme successfully will award a PhD from NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU.
Furthermore, Singapore is a gateway to some of the fastest-growing economies in the Asia Pacific region, and with SINGA, you can pursue your PhD studies in Singapore, make global connections, and advance your research career. Furthermore, SINGA fosters a vibrant and culturally diverse international student research community, and you will be working in a multi-cultural environment with people from different cultures. Financial Coverage of SINGA Scholarship 2022
The scholarship pays for up to four years of PhD study and includes the following benefits:
- Tuition is an outlay of funds.
- Monthly stipend of S$2,200, increasing to S$2,700 after passing the Qualifying Examination.
- A one-time flight award of up to S$1500 is available.
- S$1,000 one-time settling-in allowance
Eligibility Criteria
- All foreign graduates with a strong academic background and a passion for research encourages to apply.
- Excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
- It received high marks from academic reviewers.
- The qualification requirements listed above are insufficient.
Based on current scholarship standards, A*STAR may include additional selection criteria. These policies are subject to change at any time without notice.
Documents required for SINGA Scholarship 2022
All applicants must submit the following data:
- Passport.
- All diplomas and transcripts must be provided.
- Scores from the GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I & II, and GATE are not required.
- A supervisor is required for Ph.D. research.
- CV.
- letters of recommendation
- A recent passport-sized photograph.
- Previous research paper publication (if available).
- Please keep in mind that on the application form, you will ask to list your preferred supervisors.
Important Notice
- Please double-check the information you enter in the application portal during account registration, as this will use for verification when you log in for the first time.
- So, after you’ve checked in, make sure you apply for the appropriate scholarship – “Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)” – on the application site.
- Send no hard copies of documents to the SINGA Office.
- Please get your applications in as soon as possible. Because only applications with two recommendation reports will consider, your references will have plenty of time to submit their online recommendation reports prior to the application deadline.
- Before submitting the application, please double-check that all of the information you provided in the online application form is complete and accurate. After the application has submitted, no changes can be made.
