Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be citizens of a country outside the EU/EEA, Suriname or Switzerland.
Also, applicants must meet the conditions to obtain an entry permit and a residence permit in the Netherlands.
Applicants must meet specific requirements for each program to which they apply.
The applicant must not enrol in a higher education program in the Netherlands.
Applicants who have completed exchange programs in the Netherlands encouraged to apply.
You must not be more than 35 years of age on September 1, 2025.
Your academic record must be excellent.

Financial Benefits of Maastricht University Scholarships

Applicants enrolled in the 13-month master program will receive a living allowance of €15,925
Also, applicants enrolled in the 25-month master program will receive a living allowance of €30,625.

Applicants issued a visa application for a fee of 207 euros.

Register for a participating main program at Maastricht University (UM) via Studielink and receive a student ID.
After you receive your student ID, complete the scholarship application.
You must meet all eligibility requirements before the scholarship deadline.
You are responsible for special processing fees for applications by February 1, 2025.
Provide a GPA of 7.5 or higher and a document explaining your grading system.
