Iceland Writers Retreat Award 2025 | Fully Funded Trip

The Iceland Writers Retreat Award 2025 is an international writing competition that gives writers the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Iceland. So, anyone who loves to write can apply to the National Writers’ Retreat. In addition to fiction, nonfiction and memoir, those interested in drama or poetry will also benefit from these workshops.

Further, there are two days to “Relax and Write”, giving candidates more time to travel, explore the city, buy souvenirs or write. it’s close. Why Iceland Writers Retreat Award?

Participation in the finals of the World Writers’ Prize in Iceland is open to all. If you want to improve your writing skills, you can work hard without a first draft. In this international writing competition, each small group session provides inspiration and knowledge regardless of your writing goal and publication date.

Furthermore, the Iceland Writers Award aims to help writers improve their work, introduce them to famous writers and give them the opportunity to interact with like-minded people. Also, at this international writer’s conference, participants will get to know the culture of the writer in Iceland. Applicants may apply for partial or full funding.
The full price includes entrance fee, 4 nights hotel stay and air ticket.
Also, the package includes the entrance ticket (accommodation and flights are not included).

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be 18 years of age.
Winners must demonstrate that they cannot participate in the event without this prize due to financial constraints.
Applicants should focus on developing their writing skills.
Essays must be related to the literary genre of the contest, such as fiction, nonfiction, memoir
Judges’ families may not apply for this award.
Applicants who have attended the writers’ conference in Iceland are not eligible to apply.
