Financial Coverage of Italy Government Scholarship 2023

International student scholarships in Italy might last three, six, or nine months, depending on the programme.

Tuition Fees: Depending on the regulations of each university, grantees may exclude from paying enrollment and tuition fees.
Health and Medical Insurance: Grantees will cover by MAECI-contracted health and medical/accident insurance for the period of the award.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic credentials: Only international students not resident in Italy and Italian nationals living abroad (IRE)* having the academic qualifications required to enroll in an Italian university/institute are eligible to apply.
With the exception of renewals, applicants for Master’s Scholarships in Italy/Higher Education should not be older than 28 years old before the deadline of this call.
With the exception of renewals, candidates for Ph.D. courses should be no older than 30 years old before the end of this call.
Additionally, Academic Supervision Research Project applicants must be under the age of 40 at the time of application.
Language abilities and proficiency: Candidates having an English-taught Bachelor’s degree may provide evidence verifying that their Bachelor’s degree study course was wholly done in English.
For courses taught solely in English, no proof of fluency in Italian is necessary.
