The Global Korea Scholarship 2025-2026 (GKS) is a Korean government scholarship for international students to pursue graduate studies at some of the best universities of higher education in South Korea. The purpose of the Korea Global Scholarship 2025 for Undergraduate Programs is to promote goodwill and strengthen cooperation between Korea and participating countries. This scholarship is one of the largest and most competitive programs in the world.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be citizens of Korea Global Scholarship partner countries.
- Undergraduate Scholarship: Available to students who have already graduated or are about to graduate from high school or post-secondary education.
- Postgraduate Program: Available to students who have already graduated or are about to graduate from high school.
- Also, applicant must not hold Korean citizenship or dual citizenship, Bachelor’s or master’s degree program; Applicants must graduate from high school or expect to graduate by December 1, 2024.
- Qualified applicants who are expected to graduate by December 1, 2024 may apply for graduation.
- Applicants must be under 25 years of age.
- Applicants must be in good health.
- Applicants must maintain their GPA to maintain the scholarship.
Important Points for GKS Scholarship 2025
- Candidates with a TOPIK level of 3 or higher will receive an additional mark of 10% of the total score.
- Direct descendants of Korean War veterans who served in foreign armed forces during the war receive 5 percent of all earnings.
- Additional points can also be earned by proficiency in Korean and English:
- Korean: Points are awarded based on the candidate’s TOPIK score level.
- English: Additional points are awarded based on valid scores from official English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.

How to apply for Global Korea Scholarship 2025?
- Applicants can choose up to three different universities.
- You cannot select multiple departments at the same university.
- Choose at least one university from the B university list.
- If admission to a Type A university is wrong in the Type B category, your application will be rejected.
- Applicants must choose only one university to apply to.
