Financial Coverage of UMY University Scholarship

International students in undergraduate and graduate degrees will not have to pay tuition fees for one year.
International students will be free of charge for bachelor’s and master’s degrees for one year.
After one year, a scholarship and living allowance will provide based on the following criteria (using 4.0 as a grading scale):
The monthly cost of living allowance will pay as follows:
- For high school students: IDR 1,850,000/-.
- For Masters students: IDR 2,350,000/-.
- For PhD students: IDR 2,600,000/-.

Eligibility Criteria

Anyone, regardless of nationality, can apply.
The applicant must obtain the following scores to meet the language proficiency requirements (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, TOEIC).
- For university students: the required level is B1 CEFR.
- For Master and PhD students: the required level is B2 CEFR.
If you are from an English-speaking country, you will benefit from an English proficiency waiver.
If your previous degree was taught in English, you can get an English proficiency waiver.

Waiver of knowledge of the English language from the previous institution or school, which must be printed and signed by the relevant authority.
High school certificate(s) of the degree previously obtained.
Academic transcripts of previously obtained degrees.
Passport
Cover letter.
Evidence of knowledge of the English language.
Two letters of recommendation/reference (in case of application for master’s or doctoral studies).
All documents must be translated into English / Indonesian.
