OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship 2025 in Switzerland | Fully Funded

The OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship 2025 in Switzerland is designed to provide professional experience to those who are motivated to study and fight for human rights to bring social justice to the people. Also, this scholarship is available to people from almost all regions of the world who know one of these languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. During your four-week stay in Geneva, you will train to deal with human problems around the world. Also, fellows have the opportunity to participate in special Human Rights Events in June/July each year.

Also, the United Nations scholarship program in Geneva began in 1997 under the popular name of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Further, it was created to mark the completion of the first International Decade for the World’s Indigenous Peoples. Also, the purpose of this program is to help provide an opportunity for indigenous peoples to learn about the working methods of UN bodies to help with human rights and issues affecting indigenous peoples. Selection Criteria

The selection of the UN’s overall budget in Geneva is based on parameters that reflect gender and regional equality and global social balance. In addition, the human rights situation in the regions took into consideration when selecting participants. So, in the beginning, the selected citizens pre-selected 15 to 20 candidates after interviews in their languages. If the candidate applied in Portuguese, Spanish or Russian, partner universities will also be included in the selection of candidates.

Additionally, the right to food, health, education, work and freedom are the rights of life that belong to all of us without distinction of race, gender person, origin, race, religion, language or tribe. Further, if one of the rights is limited, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights can guide you to better it. All these rights are interdependent and you cannot enjoy one right by diminishing another right. Also, It believe that all human beings are born free and equal in power and authority. This free donation campaign will help you stand with people to realize their human rights. So make a difference around the world.

Eligiblity Criteria

You must be a citizen applicant.
There is no age limit.
There is no limit to formal education.
You should do your best to teach other citizens when you return to their own communities.
Applicant and recommender must apply.
You must be familiar with all the languages above list.
