University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) 2025-2026 in Canada

University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship (UMGF) provides master’s and doctoral degree program grants in addition to other scholarships in 2025-2026. For students pursuing graduate studies in Canada, both local and foreign students are eligible for the University of Manitoba Graduate Scholarship. Further, to honor academic achievement, the Faculty of Graduate Studies is awarded two million dollars annually to full-time graduate students pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees. This is a good chance to study in Canada with a scholarship.

Additionally, any of the University’s graduate degree programs (with the exception of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Faculty of Medicine). Benefits of University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship 2025-2026

UMGF Master’s awards have a maximum value of $28,000 and are worth $14,000 annually for either 12 or 24 months.
The annual amount of UMGF Doctoral grants is $18,000 for 12, 24, 36, or 48 months, with a maximum payment of $72,000.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, students must have a minimum entrance GPA of 3.0. If your department requires a higher GPA, please get in touch with them.
Students must have cleared provisional admission as Master’s or Ph.D. students in a graduate program at the University of Manitoba. Or they must have been enrolled as full-time students without provision.
You have to have obtained an admission offer from Manitoba University.

Duration of University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowship

Depending on how many months of their program they have finished, a student is eligible to receive the following number of months of UMGF financing. The current competition’s winners must pick up their prizes in May, September, or January. Students must refuse their award if they are unable to receive it during this academic year.
